Denise Pappas, Executive Director, Technical Standards for Valcom, works on the leadership teams of both Valcom and newly-acquired Keltron. She has extensive experience in the telecommunications and fire alarm industries and prior to Valcom, she was National Sales Manager for Commercial Products Group/Harrington Signal. She participates in a wide variety of fire, life safety and emergency communications code committees including Intelligent Building Systems - BICSI, Wireless Standard Vice Chair – BICSI, ESS – BICSI, Healthcare – BICSI, NFPA 72 Chapter 24 - Emergency Communication Systems, NFPA 101/5000 - Life Safety Code, and NFPA 99 – Healthcare Code Correlating Committee. She also works on several ICC committees and is the Communications and Systems Chair for NEMA 3SB. Denise studied communications at Bowling Green State University and is a Certified Speaker and experienced presenter.
