All too often our jobs are to try to educate a community that believes itself to be untouchable. Students believe it can never happen to them, until such time that a tragedy touches their lives. This program will look at how one community’s fire professionals and student discipline professional worktowards changing attitudes on campus and making this not just OUR issue, but THE COMMUNITY’S issue.

Robert Wilczynski is an Assistant Director of Housing and an Assistant Dean of Student at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He oversees safety and security measures in all University Housing facilities and serves as an one of three University Hearing Officers that oversee the campus disciplinary system.
