BREAKING NEWS

The Center for Campus Fire Safety appoints representatives from SimplexGrinnell and SIEMENS to its Board of Directors

[Center Headquarters]  [January 8, 2014 10:08 pm ]  [Views 550]

Newburyport, Massachusetts – January 8, 2013 … President Paul D. Martin took great pride in announcing that he was appointing Mr. Rodger Reiswig, Director of Industry Relations at SimplexGrinnell and Mr. Daniel Finnegan, Manager of Industry Affairs & Fire Safety at Siemens Industry, Inc. to the Board of Directors of The Center for Campus Fire Safety.

The appointment of these two Affiliate members was made to advance the goals established by Center’s membership during its recent Campus Fire Forum and Annual Meeting in St. Louis.

Neither of these highly respected gentlemen is a stranger to The Center, nor are they neophytes in the fire and life safety profession. Rather the opposite.  Both have been stalwart supporters of The Center, as well as having spent their entire professional careers advancing fire and life safety.  Therefore, they became clear frontrunners in President Martin’s eyes as he begins to undertake the expansion of our Board pursuant to the recently amended Corporate
By-laws.

Martin said “I believe the professional experience and pre-existing knowledge of the inner workings of The Center, when coupled with the personal integrity, energy, enthusiasm, wisdom and business networks that both Rodger and Dan have, will prove to be tremendously positive for our organization as we continue to grow and develop.”

Mr. Reiswig said “I am looking forward to working closely with this very esteemed group.” while Mr. Finnegan went on to say “I am looking forward to helping in every way I can to continue improving the level of life safety and fire protection in the campus environment.”

Everyone at The Center appreciates the dedication to our cause and organization these gentlemen have demonstrated over the years and looks forward to working even more closely with them now as members of the Board.
