Commercial Wireless Systems International, LLC Advances the Technology of Commercial Wireless
Fire Alarm Systems. CWSI foresaw a methodology to take wireless fire alarm technology far into the 21st
century. The model was to duplicate a conventional, fully addressable, hardwired fire alarm system
incorporating wireless technology. The goal was to replicate functions and enhance capabilities which
would put wireless technology on an equal platform with its conventional counterparts.
After several years of dedication and effort, we are pleased to announce that our goal has been achieved. CWSI understands the unique needs of property owners, architects, engineers, fire authorities and installing contractors in our industry. Our management, engineering and sales team have been involved in the wireless fire alarm field for over 30 years. Scott has been involved in the Commercial Wireless Fire Alarm Field since 1981. From 1988 thru 1994
he served as Vice President of Operations for World Electronics, Inc who was the first company to
manufacture and distribute Commercial Wireless Fire Alarm Systems.
Scott, along with his father Phil Barrett, was instrumental in World Electronics receiving the first
ever Underwriters Laboratories Listed Commercial Wireless Fire Alarm Systems. Together they worked
to secure a codes and standards process for the establishment of National Fire Protection Standards
for Commercial Wireless Systems. Scott established World’s independent Dealer network which was
comprised of over 140 companies.
Seeing the opportunity of industry advancements and technology change, Scott founded Commercial
Wireless Systems, International, LLC (CWSI) in 2003. Scott and his team have spent the last six
years designing and developing the most advanced Commercial Wireless Fire Alarm Products, including
the first bi-directional RF System in the industry.
Scott has served on industry advisory boards, is an affiliate member of the International Fire Marshals
Association, and is a principle on the National Fire Protection Associations Protected Premise Committee.

Elizabeth earned a degree in Occupational Therapy from Lasell College. She quickly transitioned into
the marketing field where she spent years with DMX Music, followed by Comcast Advertising.
In 2003, Elizabeth founded Ad Excellence, Inc., a full service advertising and marketing firm. As President
of Ad Excellence she grew her team to include public relations, creative, programming, and media buying
which supported over 100 clients, including CWSI.
After selling Ad Excellence in 2007, she relocated to MA where she formed Strategic Media Buyers, a
consulting firm. Continuing her relationship with the CWSI has brought her to a full time role as Director
of Sales for what will soon be the leader in Wireless Fire Alarm Systems! |
