Cindy Giedraitis, Chief David Kerr and Chief Christopher Monestier

Cindy Giedraitis serves as the South Central Regional Manager for NFSA: National Fire Sprinkler Association. Cindy educates and promotes Fire Sprinklers for Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas through industry meetings/round tables, technical trainings, presentations, and fire sprinkler coalition meetings.

Deputy Chief Kerr began his career as a volunteer firefighter in Allen in 1973.  From 1976-1978 he worked for the Richardson Fire Department and from 1980-1982 he was the Director of Fire Protection and Medical for Honeywell Optoelectronics. He served on the Farmers Branch Fire Department from 1982 until he joined Plano Fire Rescue in 1983. Kerr begin as the Fire Protection Engineer and was appointed Fire Marshal in September 2001. Personal Background:  Deputy Chief Kerr holds a Master of Public Administration from Texas A&M University and undergraduate degrees in Fire Protection and Safety Technology from Oklahoma State University and Public Administration from UT-Dallas and is a graduate of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program.

Chief Christopher Monestier is the Assistant Fire Chief Chris Monestier is a 25 year member of the San Antonio Fire Department and serves as the Assistant Chief over Fire Prevention.  His duties include operation of the Office of the Fire Marshal, Fire Inspections, and Community Safety and Education.  He is a native San Antonian and a 1993 Graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio.
